Earth Day was celebrated on Saturday 22 April 2023. At Huntingtower School, our campus is surrounded by landscaping to bring a sense of beauty and calmness. With this tranquil environment, it is hoped our students may thrive.For every tree planted in the world, another three are being felled. Recently ten dangerous trees were removed from the school grounds and the school wants to replace them fourfold, to further enhance our natural environment. With the help of our skilled property team and ongoing support from the Parents and Friends Committee, the school is creating a new treed area including:
1. Outdoor teaching area
2. Seating and eating area
3. Fitness hub and active area
4. Reflective garden area
5. Indigenous orchard area
6. Planetarium sundial
7. Stump art
With your help we can create more nature to our campus.
