Kempsey CDAT & Coffs Harbour CDAT, are proud to present this free opportunity:Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Information and Harm Reduction Training
Run by Annie Bleeker
This training is for community workers and others who may want to know more about alcohol and other drugs.
Training will seek to provide particpants with;
Improved knowledge of AOD use and trends in NSW/Australia
Improved knowledge of AOD and harm reduction strategies to share with your clients
Improved confidence in working with people with AOD issues
New skills in harm reduction practice
This training will be conducted by Annie Bleeker, who has worked for over 30 years in the drug and alcohol HIV/AIDS field as a community educator, researcher and health promotion specalist. Annie is passionate about reducing stigma towards people who use drugs. Annie currently works part time as a Senior Training Specalist at the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Association ACT.
