A Festival of Music and Singing
About
The Welsh Society of the Sunshine Coast presents 'A Festival of Music and Singing'.The Festival has evolved from two Welsh traditions, 'Gymanfa Ganu ' and 'Noson Lawen'; Community Singing and a Fun Evening.
The audience will be invited to join in and sing the community songs with gusto.
They also have the pleasure of listening to our guest artists. The brilliant Kim Kirkman returns, Sacha Gibbs-McPhee is a consummate clarinetist, Michelle Bull a sublime soprano and Ceri McCoy a fantastic folk singer. The Festival is once again at the Caloundra Uniting Church, this year on Sunday, July 23. General admittance $27. Groups of 10 and more - $25 per person. Welsh Society members $25.
Wait, there's more! Immediately following the Festival we offer you an amazing afternoon tea with all the Welsh cakes and Bara Brith (Speckled Bread) you can eat.
