Spirit of Timor, featuring the Dili Allstars and Timor Oans, brings together the music of resistance with traditional storytelling, drumming, music and dance.
The Dili Allstars, fresh from WOMAD, now bring their music and storytelling together with young Timorese members of Timor Oan’s Cultural Group - an inspirational initiative designed to assist young East Timorese to connect with their cultural identity and preserve their rich tapestry of cultural arts practices for the present and for future generations.
Spirit of Timor is a joyful family-friendly event, celebrating Timorese culture - music, food, and dancing! Entry is free!
Make a donation of $100 and secure your own table at the venue for 10 of your family or friends!
Timorese food will be on sale, and a bar will operate. We will sell packs of wonderful coffee from Timor Leste.
