Brave Talks August 2023 (SOLD OUT)
Brave Talks is a unique event that sees four people with a lived experience of mental health, share their experiences from the stage. Two previous sold-out events, each met with rave reviews, illustrate how hungry we are for honest and vulnerable conversations, that are otherwise left silent, in the shadows.
Presented by JCA The Choice Foundation and JewishCare, this Brave Talks will explore how we find hope and healing when faced with seemingly impossible loss and darkness - proving the power of both the human spirit and our connection with each other.
TRIGGER WARNING: Please note this is an 18 year + event and touches on themes of child loss, eating disorders and physical health trauma, all shared within Safe Storytelling Guidelines and, with onsite professional support available. If you have any questions about our safety processes, please get in touch with Sarah Kezelman s.kezelman@jewishcare.com.au
