GMA of UWA invites you to attend our annual Black Tie Dinner, hosted at the University Club of Western Australia in Crawley.Charles Harper Award and Legends Award winners will be announced on the night.
We are delighted to announce our 2023 Key Note Speaker is UWA Chancellor and 12th Chief Justice of Australia, the Honourable Robert French AC.
Later this year, Australia will vote on whether to change the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.
The Voice calls for real, meaningful change to address the power imbalances that have long disadvantaged Indigenous Australians.
Robert French AC will briefly present on the history, context and issues regarding the Voice, followed by an interview by our Patron Michael Chaney AO and questions from the audience.
