ABOUT JB PATERSON
JB Paterson is a roving blue-collar songwriter and producer. Inspired by traditional folk & blues music, appropriating traditional melodies with a strong focus on lyrics. Compared to songwriters Neil Young, Townes Van Zandt and Bob Dylan. JB recently achieved #1 Album of The Year by ‘Songpickr’ and landed a cover and 5 page spread in local music magazine ‘The Stew’. In late 2022 he signed to Holiday Maker Records and released his 3rd LP ‘Springtime is Coming’ to great response with heavy rotation on ABC Country and Double J. JB has shared the stage with Mark Lanegan, Steve Kilbey (The Church), Darren Hanlon, and many more. He’ll be performing in a duo with Rebecca Cunningham on banjo for the ‘Springtime is Coming’ Tour
JB will be supported by JOSEPH S FAIRBURN & JUMPIN JACK WILLIAM
Long term singer-songwriter companions Joseph S. Fairburn & Jumpin’ Jack William present an earnest amalgamation of their inner and outer worldly experiences. Through a journey of metaphorical and Earthly lyricism weaved together with serenading harmonies, giving ode to the folk troubadours of the 60s.
Joseph S. Fairburn and Jumpin’ Jack William ramble through melodic movements of dynamic fingerpicking, whimsical and deep storytelling that presents the ponderings on the ways of the world, the unseen, the yet to be unveiled along with the humble everyday happenings.
Embodying old and progressive styles of folk, country and blues, from forests to oceans and mountains to stars, behold an adventure of familiarity yet unique in it’s expression conjuring a visceral experience for the partaking.
The Bowraville Theatre is a charming historic theatre built in the 1940s and run entirely by volunteers.
