A Night of Double Bass - Elsen Price and Sarah Homeh
Johnston Street Jazz and Annandale Creative Arts Centre presents a night of double bass music with Elsen Price and Sarah Homeh.
Elsen Price has performed solo music for double bass for both living composers and himself since 2012, with numerous performances throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
Elsen will be performing music reflecting his time performing in Tokyo in July, with collaborations with over 20 of Tokyo's leading improvising musicians, using 2 basses, his 2016 Puglisi 'Rene' and his NS Design 5 string electric double bass.
Sarah Homeh is a well regarded Sydney bass player, performing many notable events in Australia for the last 6 years. Sarah will be performing compositions she has developed for voice and bass reflecting race and gender from her perspective as a 2nd generation female migrant in Australia.
