Course at a Glance
ACME stimulates and challenges the experienced physician or senior registrar/senior CMO practicing Emergency Medicine. You will expand and practice your understanding of human factors and team behaviours and their impact on the quality of team-based clinical care,practice team resuscitation skills in immersive simulations, refresh advanced procedures in airway and vascular access and receive tips and techniques and support from your colleagues in small group discussions and debriefing.

The course encourages discussion and the sharing of information, and there is no assessment of participants.

Who can attend?
The course is designed for the following groups:
Medical Practitioners, including Fellows of the College of Emergency Medicine, Advanced Trainees (in their final two years of training), Emergency Medicine Certificate holders, Senior and Chief Medical Officers working in emergency departments as the most senior clinician overnight.
Prerequisites:
If you’re a Trainee you must provide a letter of support from your Director of Emergency Medicine Training prior to your registration being accepted. Senior and Chief Medical Officers must provide us with a letter of support from the Fellow of Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM Director prior to your registration being accepted).
