About

A heart-felt and humorous story, Quartet is set in a retirement home. (Not an aged care home!)
Three friends, Cecily, Wilfred and Reggie, reside in this home for aging opera singers. They are busily preparing a concert to honour the renowned Verdi’s birthday. However, Jean, who used to be married to Reggie, arrives at the home and upsets the equilibrium. She still acts like a diva and refuses to sing.
But the show must go on.
Will the four old friends be a quartet again?
A funny and poignant play about life, love and friendship, and how we deal with aging.
