Drum for Divinity - Womans drumming workshopYou will be taken on a 3 hour journey though the the universe of Rhythm, the role women have played in cultures in regards to being the beat keepers. The link we have with Rhythm and how it plays a part in everything we do and how it is simply a part of us. The connection with us and the universe and how this is expressed. We will learn some introductory rhythms from a few different cultures on djembe and darbuka. We will create a circle and we will have a chance to express this rhythm though the drums as well as dance and voicing.
