Weed Genomics Workshop
About
We are excited to run a half-day face-to-face event on 22 September that will enable more in-depth discussion of weed genomics following the Plant and Animal Genome Conference Australia in Perth, WA.
Multiple scientists from interstate and internationally will be present in Perth with shared interests in weed genomics. This event aims to explore opportunities and priorities for weed genomics research in Australia and beyond. The session will consist of several scientific presentations, building on and adding to those presented at the PAG workshop, and a round table discussion. Participants are welcome to attend the presentations and participate in the discussion.
We would love to see you there to be part of the weed genomics conversation and to learn the latest in manipulating genomics for improved crop yields.
The Weed Genomics Workshop will be followed by an optional tour of the Australian Herbicide Resistance Initiative (AHRI) facilities.

This event is organised by Dr Todd Gaines and the Australian Herbicide Resistance Initiative at The University of Western Australia.
