The Jim Kerr Address pays respect to the late James Semple Kerr’s legacy by perpetuating open inquiry into the understanding of place and the constant review of progress in conservation philosophy and practice.
The Jim Kerr Address is held in order to raise public awareness concerning the diversity of the world’s heritage and the efforts that are required to protect and conserve it, as well as to draw attention to its vulnerability.
