About

Opera by the Lakes is an annual event in March each year since 2014 (two years off for Covid). It has attracted up to 1000 patrons to enjoy such performers as Marina Prior, David Hobson, Sylvie Paladino, Teddy Tahu Rhodes and many others. It is held at Nyerimilang Heritage Park (near Lakes Entrance Victoria) with stunning views across the Gippsland Lakes.

2024 will have international tenor Shanul Sharma, international coloratura soprano Georgia Wilkinson, international baritone Nathan Lay, international mezzo-soprano Dimity Shepherd and international soprano Kate Amos, plus local young music theatre performer Wil Jones, accompanied by the brilliant David McNicol.
