Experimental concert series curators New North’s first concert at Tempo Rubato celebrates the intimacy of sound and song in a double bill of Joe O’Connor/Theo Carbo/Tim Green and Imogen Cygler’s collaboration with Helen Svoboda and Ollie Cox. O’Connor/Carbo/Green’s textural acoustic improvisations are balanced by electro-acoustic extensions of Cygler’s beautifully rich songs.
