On Saturday 19 August 2023, AIA-ACT will hold another gala Winter Dinner to help celebrate "Hari Kemerdekaan" Indonesia's Independence Day on 17 August.This has been a feature event of superb value in the Australia Indonesia Community in Canberra for over a decade and again will provide great food, great entertainment and great company in an easily accessed central location with good free parking.
The dinner will be a Indonesian Halal buffet (Beef Rendang, Chicken Semur, Chilli Prawns & Vegetables with rice and later dessert).
The Guest Speaker will be the famous author, Ian Burnett, who will talk about 'Adventures in Paradise" which sums up his extensive travels throughout Indonesia. The Indonesian Ambassador, HE Dr Siswo Pramono will also address the dinner.
As well as great entertainment, another feature of our Winter Dinners has been great Raffle Prizes and again Indo Cafe is providing a 10 course Rijsttafel for 6 worth $500.
