Are you sniffing out new ideas for fiction, or putting flesh on the bones of a biography? Learn how to hunt* for historical tales in their original habitat.

You will learn about when and how to use archives or libraries for different research purposes. You will gain some tips and tricks for digging up archival gold from a range of collections, and how to tap into communities of fellow history hunters in Australia and abroad.
Tamara Wenham is an archivist with over 20 years of professional experience in managing and searching archival records. Currently working with 19th and 20th century South Australian files, photos, maps and ledgers, she also takes a keen interest in other collections across Australia and says she has a job that sometimes feels more like a hobby.
