About
**DAY 1 TRAINING PRE-REQUISITE FOR DAY 2**Day two builds on and consolidates learnings from day one, with practical experience with real wildlife cases. We cover specialised topics including baby bird care, raptor care and handling and oiled birds. We also discuss the current guidelines around humane euthanasia and how to ethically undertake euthanasia in a field scenario. Participants then learn how to prepare different species for safe transport under a variety of scenarios and how to conduct pre- release assessments and follow the release requirements for different common species.
Our team encourages any questions participants may have throughout the day, so people are able to develop their core skills, finish their foundations training and have the confidence needed to undertake wildlife first aid in their field of work.
