EXCURSION to Kalamunda History Village 09:50-12:00
09:50 Meet at Kalamunda History Village, Railway Road, Kalamunda
10:00-12:00 excursion, including time for morning tea.
BYO Morning tea. You're welcome to BYO lunch to enjoy after the excursion has concluded.
KALAMUNDA HISTORY VILLAGE TOUR:
- School, Swindells's room, Hopscotch game
- The Whim ('Daisy Bell') - was used to help haul the felled trees to the saw pit through the bush. It was pulled by 8 horses or 8 bullocks.
- Station 1927-1949, Bill Shaw Room, Waiting Room
- Original station 1903-1927
- McCullagh shop
- McCullagh Cottage
- Water Tank, Wash House, Dunny, Windmill
- Ellis Cottage 1920s
- Farm equipment, Grader and Roller
- Carriage Shed
- Memorial Building (vehicles from the 1930s-1960s)
- Orchard shed
- Blacksmith
- Chambers House
- Post Office
- Saw Pit
REGISTRATION
Please complete the data collection and payment for child(ren) in your OWN family. You can nominate another adult to provide supervision on your behalf.
This is not a 'drop off' excursion. For this EXCURSION an adult/nominated guardian is required to attend.
$0.50 booking fee per ticket.
Prices: Ages 0-2 FREE,
Ages 3+: $12.50/pp (50 student places available),
Adults: $6/pp
