Poetry Launch: Pieces that Fit
Join us for the launch of Steph Amir’s poetry collection, Pieces that Fit.
The esteemed poet Andy Jackson writes of this collection, “The playfulness within Steph Amir’s poetry is eloquent and contagious. She writes with curiosity and sensitivity from within the queerness of the everyday. These are poems alert to the perils of being human in the Anthropocene, as well as the potential for transformation and joy.”
In 2021, Amir was a Writeability Fellow at Writers Victoria, a fellowship for writers with disabilities. Her poems have been published in Australia and internationally, including recently in Burrow, Meniscus, Otoliths, StylusLit, and Wordgathering.
Free to attend, but bookings essential.
