Get ready to hear beautiful Jazz standards performed by a world class quartet. Simone and her band delve into the reaches of The Great American and British Songbooks to present an afternoon of spontaneous and improvised music. Drawing from the best-loved works of Berlin, Porter, Gershwin, Coward and Noble and inspired by the great ladies of Jazz - there will be nothing ‘standard’ about this performance! Simone was based in London, performing in the capitol’s prestigious venues, including Ronnie Scotts and Houses of Parliament. On returning home, Simone won the 2020 Fringe World Music & Musicals Award for Nina, Love Simone amongst other awards. Festival appearances include Edinburgh Fringe, York Jazz Festival, Blues at Bridgetown, Jazz by the Beach, Lyric Lane Festival and Perth Jazz Festival.
