About
Join local artist Anna Battle to sketch your choice of the homestead, distillery buildings and views of the beautiful Pechey Distillery. Anna will be at Pechey for the first two weekends in August as part of the popular "In Studio Art Trail".Urban Sketching is an international drawing movement used to document the goings on and essence of a particular place. It encompasses all styles and mediums but must be completed on location (en plein air).
Anna will take participants through selecting a scene, how to draw quickly, using shapes as reference, and adding details and tone, and will offer feedback if requested.
Tickets $50 pp. Ages 14+.
Please bring a limited tool kit of a small sketchbook, pens, pencils, pencil sharpener, brushes, a pan watercolour set, and a portable stool/chair.
Participants will be gifted a Blue Prismacolor Pencil and colour notes. There will be some sketching kits available for purchase.
