We paused. Took a moment. Shared a world-wide “…Ummm”. Now, the poetry slam storm returns.In 2023, flex vocal chords with a new voice. Run with new leaders. Turn your moments of “…um” into MomentUm. Write new poetic revolutions. You’ve got two minutes on the mic. Build your MomentUm to crescendo and be heard.
Poetry Slams and wordshops are popping June to October. A thousand writers will grab their moment in the spotlight leading to one National Final and a prize worth $20k including publishing and gigs from Byron to Bali and beyond.

This session will be led by a professional Poetry Slam artist.
In partnership with Wordcraft, a spoken word collective honouring our stories raw and in process through spoken word events & workshops.
Please note that there are stairs leading to the venue.
