The Melbourne Scottish Fiddlers (MSF) will be raising the roof of the Blackwood Town Hall on Sunday October 22nd! The MSF have a loyal following and their exhilarating performances always draw an enthusiastic crowd. They have recorded 7 CDs & regularly collaborate with some of the world’s best traditional musicians. For anyone who can trace a link back to Scotland..to Shetland..to Nova Scotia…or who simply enjoys top quality music and song - this concert is a must! Join us for a heart-warming mix of the traditional and the contemporary - of songs and tunes that will bring a smile to the lips and perhaps a tear to the eye. The concert will be opened by amazing harp and violin duo Mickey and Michelle ~ with their unique blend of contemporary folk and jazz. And there will be a song or two from Blackwood’s own Fiona Ross…!Concert begins at 2pm. Bar at venue. Tickets $25 ($20)
