Port Melbourne Secondary College is delighted to welcome Kgshak Akec as our inaugural Writer in Residence. Kgshak’s debut novel, 'Hopeless Kingdom', was shortlisted for the 2023 Miles Franklin Award, and we warmly invite you to join us to hear from Kgshak as she shares her experiences and insights on writing and the art of story telling.

Thursday August 24 in the Port Melbourne Secondary College Theatre

Author talk begins at 5.30pm followed by book signing from 6.30-7pm
