ACA Business of Architecture Lunch - Hobart
The ACA is delighted to invite you to attend our Business of Architecture Lunch in Hobart on 14 August with ACA CEO, Presidents and team from around the country in attendance. We are proud to announce that we will be joined by guest speaker Rodney Dillon, Palawa Elder and Chair of the Tasmanian Aboriginal Heritage Council for a presentation on the Voice to Parliament. A light lunch and drinks will be served during this free event. We hope you and your team can join us.
This event will be the culmination of a two-day strategic meeting of our national team, and will include an update on the ACA’s advocacy work from National President John Held, Victoria/Tasmania Branch President Paul Viney and CEO Angelina Pillai. Come along to meet our Branch Presidents from around the country, our broader national team and fellow Tasmanian ACA members.
We are also proud to be joined by guest speaker Rodney Dillon, a Palawa Elder, Member of the PM’s First Nations Referendum Working Group and Chair of the Tasmanian Aboriginal Heritage Council and Indigenous Advisor to Amnesty International.
Recent changes to the National Standard of Competencies for Architects require us to improve our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture. The ACA is committed to assisting our members with this endeavour. We are delighted that Rodney will join us to share his thoughts on the Voice to Parliament and its potential impact on First Nations people.
