I will be the Light! A Celebration of Song
Featuring the combined voices of the National Boys Choir of Australia, Box Hill Chorale and Melbourne University Choral Society, accompanied by chamber
players of the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra, and one of Australia's finest organists, this concert will be a celebration of the choral art, and feature a wide range of works (many by living composers). From contemporary works such as Custer's uplifting "I Will Be The Light" and Tom Porter's beautiful "Lux Aeterna", to modern classics such as Ola Gjeilo's "The Ground" and iconic pieces such as Brahms' "Wie lieblich sind deine Wonungen", Handel’s "Zadok the Priest" and Vaughan Williams’ "The Old 100th" the concert will also offer some fantastic surprises! Performed in the magnificent setting of historic All Saints Anglican Church, East St Kilda, this concert promises to be joyous celebration of song for both young and old alike.
