Join us for a wonderful evening with brilliant duo, The Weeping Willows. Laura Coates and Andrew Wrigglesworth are an acoustic, folk-laced, country-tinged duo. They have been described as “a couple of old souls, steeped in Bluegrass tradition and draped in Gothic Americana imagery”.Laura Coates is a vocalist of outstanding ability and Andrew Wrigglesworth’s guitar playing is out of this world. Their vocal harmonies are spine-tingling, rich, warm and strong and they have mesmerised their audiences all over the world.
The Weeping Willows took out the 2021 CMAA Golden Guitar for Instrumental of the Year and have picked up ten Golden Guitar nominations to date. They were awarded Best Country Act at the 2021 Music Victoria awards and Duo/Group of the Year at the 2021 Australian Folk Music Awards.
