This year, JewishCare is hosting an R U OK Day event to inspire and empower our community to connect with the people around them and to start conversations with those in their world who may really need it.
We are excited to welcome Mental Health First Aid Training Facilitator, Alena Ferrugia to the event. An experienced educator with expertise in adolescent mental health and development, Alena will share invaluable learnings on mental health and wellbeing.
Community member Craig Boss will then share his experience of mental health - an inspiring testimony that ultimately reminds us that open conversation and support make all the difference.
Participants can then engage in an art activity, taught by talented artist and educator Valerie Rubel. The resulting artwork will be displayed at JewishCare, serving as a visual representation of our community’s commitment to mental health and wellbeing.
