Dear friends. Join us as we celebrate the Art of Chamber Music. All Itet String Ensembles from across the state of Victoria will travel to Melbourne to perform at the iconic ABC Iwaki Auditorium. They will combine to form our largest String Orchestra on record, and then perform individually. We will have ten ensembles from Horsham, Mildura, Shepparton, Bendigo, Traralgon, Bairnsdale and Broadmeadows. Our Itet members will share the stage with gifted professional musicians, including Itet Artistic Director John Noble, Robert John, Orchestra Victoria colleagues and Artistic Patrons - Melbourne's own Flinders Quartet. This will be an incredibly exciting event featuring music from Haydn to Studio Ghibli, including an inspiring commissioned work for our Traralgon & Bairnsdale Quartets from talented Drouin-based composer Alisha Redmond.
