DAL Professional Learning Sessions - Term 4
The Digital Assessment Library (DAL), established by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA), offers free, high quality online classroom student assessments, designed to provide teachers with meaningful and timely information about student learning and progress.
The DAL now has over 300 assessments for Mathematics, English, Science, Critical and Creative Thinking, and Health and Physical Education. All assessments are closely aligned to the Victorian Curriculum F–10 and range from broad (in terms of coverage of the curriculum) to highly targeted.
To support the use of the DAL, the VCAA is delivering free online sessions for all education sectors (government, independent and Catholic), primary and secondary.
For schools that are new to the DAL or for those that want to learn more, there is a general information session on the assessments in the DAL, which includes demonstrations of the platform.
Sessions will be provided online via WebEx with a link emailed to attendees prior to the session.

DAL General Information
This is an introductory session, providing overall information on the assessments in the DAL, as well as demonstrating key functions of the platform. Guidance will be given regarding implementation of assessments throughout the year. This session is targeted at schools that are new to or interested in registering to use the DAL.
