This program is aimed at players turning 11 in 2024 (born in 2013). Players turning 10 in 2024 (born in 2014) are also welcome to attend.
Following this program, we will be holding two selection days for our 11 & Under Program in 2024.
- Rep Ready: 8-Oct, 15-Oct, 29-Oct, 12-Nov
- Selections: 19-Nov and 26-Nov
What are 'Rep Ready' Sessions?
These sessions are designed to introduce players to the Essendon Thunder Rep Program. Sessions will have Thunder coaches taking players through practicing and refining the basic skills that selectors would expect to see this age group be able to perform at selections.
What will 'Selections' involve?
Selections will involve netball drills and some match play to allow selectors to view the players skills and abilities in a number of scenarios.
Selections can be attended by all age eligible players, regardless if they have attended the Rep Ready Sessions.
Cost
$50 total for 6 sessions - 4 weeks of Rep Ready and 2 weeks of selections,
or
$15 for 2 weeks of selections only.

Players should be in comfortable training gear for Rep Ready Sessions Players should wear black or navy bottoms and white top for Selections sessions. Numbers will be written in texta on Legs (or arms for players in leggings) for selectors to identify players. |
