SPECIAL PRESENTATION
Join Narelle Russo from Mornington Peninsula Gallery as she discusses the Napoleonic Collection housed at one of the Mornington Peninsula’s oldest properties, The Briars.
The collection was assembled by Dame Mabel Brookes the great granddaughter of William Balcombe. Balcombe was posted to the remote island of St Helena where he developed a close relationship with Napoleon when the French Emperor was exiled from 1815.
This fascinating collection includes over 500 artifacts associated with Napoleon.
This is a seated indoor event to be held in the Presentation Room inside the main house, accessed from the Hospitality Verandah.
Tickets are Free however they are only valid in conjunction with the purchase of a daytime festival ticket.
Note space is limited - bookings essential.
