The sixth Denmark Summer Early Music Workshops offer four days of immersion in Early Music for amateur and professional singers and instrumentalists.Our music tutors are among the best in Australia and will teach six streams:
STRINGS : Shaun Lee-Chen, Violinist and Concertmaster of Australian Brandenburg Orchestra.
CELLO: Noeleen Wright, baroque specialist .
VOICE: Brianna Louwen, Sydney based soprano and voice coach
DOUBLE REED: Stephen Robinson, Baroque Oboist and one of Australia's best known wind musicians
FLUTE: Andy Skinner, Baroque Flautist with Australian Baroque
RECORDER: Ruth Wilkinson, Renowned Melbourne based player and teacher
All teach from an historically informed performance perspective, bringing the Baroque to Life!
The workshop will be made up of morning technique classes,
afternoon ensembles, both large and small, and
evenings for small groups and blackboard concerts.
Ensembles will accommodate players at A415 and A440.
