About
Bright Sparks is run by a qualified teacher from Brisbane Adventist College, and supported by volunteers from the Mt Gravatt Seventh-day Adventist Church.Our playgroup is aimed at children aged 1-5 years of age, runs every Wednesday during the school term from 9:00-11:00am, and is a great opportunity to meet new people, make friends, play and learn, and become part of a community.
Bright Sparks offers a mix of organised activities and free play, including playdough, small toys such as blocks and cars, and sensory tables to which contribute to the development of motor skills; songs with movement, instruments and actions; a story and themed craft activity; morning tea (fruit and crackers will be provided for children, and hot drinks and biscuits will be available throughout for parents and caregivers); and a shared pack-up, which encourages responsibility and independence.
The cost is from $5.00 per child, per week.
