Our Surf Education Program is designed to develop participant engagement, awareness and understanding of the skills required to ride a surfboard in a fun and supportive environment. Surfing, or riding a wave, puts a person into a state of calm, or flow state, forgetting everything and being completely in that moment.
Being able to tap into this state of mind, get the endorphins moving and becoming “stoked”, can provide participants with the feelings they need to get themselves through their day or week.
This is what Surf Therapy is all about, and this is why surfing is such an addictive sport.
