Night to Shine – Australian World Orchestra 2023
About
Promising young musicians from The Regional Youth Orchestra (RYO), comprising students from conservatories throughout NSW, will come together with Australian World Orchestra musicians for the AWO Masters & Youth concert, “A Night To Shine”.The evening's repertoire begins with Sir Edward Elgar's mighty 'Nimrod', from the Enigma Variations. A spell-binding performance of the vivid and magical 'Scheherazade' by composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov will follow, concluding the concert and giving the audience a deep understanding of the power of music and the fantastic opportunity provided to these young musicians through the AWO's Education Program.
With only 150 seats in this iconic and intimate venue, this is a unique opportunity to see the Australian World Orchestra up-close-and-personal, side by side with the next generation of fabulous young musicians.
