Upcycling Workshop
About
This is a workshop for anyone interested in gaining upcycling skills (maybe you want to enter the Upcycling Class in the Robertson Show!).
You will get ideas to recycle fabric and textile items such as doilies, fancywork, tapestry, needlework, quilting, clothing and household linen and napiery into something new that you can wear or use.
Barbara Combe, an experienced dress, costume and pattern maker will demonstrate different techniques and give you lots of ideas. Come along and share Barbara's passion for minimising the amount of textiles that go into landfill.
You are welcome to bring along your own project and sewing machine or just come along to brainstorm ideas!
Workshop fee is $25 which includes afternoon tea from the CTC Cafe.
