A NEW YEAR'S EVE CELEBRATION, WITH THE THRILLING ACTION OF A RODEO
Watch the cowboys and cowgirls compete for national standings. See the bravery of the bull riders and the horsemanship of the barrel racers, plus many more traditional country events. After the rodeo, it's time to kick up some dust on the dance floor and ring in the new year with a live band.
Located at Mogumber, just an hour and a half north of Perth, Western Australia.
Join the Mogumber Outback Club Inc and celebrate New Year's Eve OUTBACK STYLE!
It's the major fundraising event for the small country town of Mogumber, organised and staffed by local volunteers.
TICKETS
Adults $50 (18yrs and over)
Pensioner/Senior Card Holder $40
Children $20 (2 yrs to 17yrs)
Our volunteeers will scan your ticket on arrival and provide you with the MOC entry wristband. Please print, download or screen shot your tickets before you arrive. Pensioners will need to provide their card on arrival for proof of the entry discount.
As a family friendly event, juniors are allowed in the licensed area, but must be accompanied by their guardian at all times. 18+ attendees will need photo ID and an adult entry wristband to gain bar service. See our security team at the gates of the licensed area to get your 18+ bar pass.
CAMPING
Overnight paddock-style camping is included in your ticket.
The campground opens at 12noon 31st December and closes 24hours later, 12noon 1st January.
Due to the insurance requirements at this private venue, there is no entry to the campground outside these times.
You can set up your caravan, camper, tent or swag in the paddock. Toilets are provided and serviced throughout the event by the team at Total Toilets.
There are no showers, no power and no water available, so please come prepared for your overnight stay.
The campground is an open paddock, so be prepared for the summer heat.
Your campsite is allocated as you arrive, so if you want to camp next to your friends you will need to arrive together. No spaces will be saved for late arrivals.
The Campground is patrolled by security. We offer a family only zone for those with little cowboys & cowgirls, please ask the campground attendants for the family only zone when you arrive.
You cannot camp in the townsite of Mogumber on the night of the event. Due to safety concerns over the Moore River Bridge, attendees cannot walk from the townsite to the event. Attendees arriving on foot will be declined entry to the event.
No BYO Alcohol, No Dogs, No Glass, No Drones and No Fires allowed.
Our insurance policy does not allow dogs at the event, no matter how small or well behaved they are. This includes the campground.
The Mogumber Outback Club have an approved liquor licence onsite, and the bar is kindly operated by local volunteers.
MERCHANDISE
Stubby Holders, Hats, Stickers and Ear Tags will be available for sale on the day of the event.

Pre-Orders for the 2023 Mogumber New Years Eve Rodeo Shirts have now closed. If you have ordered a shirt, please collect from the Topp Dogg martket stall at the event. Your can also order a shirt at the Topp Dogg stall on event day. Orders placed at the event will be manufactured after the event and posted to you.

On New Year's morning, come visit the Mogumber breakfast stall, where you can purchase a bacon & egg burger from our volunteers. Tea, coffee, orange juice and iced coffee also available.
LICENSED VENUE
The Mogumber New Years Eve Rodeo is a licensed venue. NO BYO Alcohol is allowed.
The licensed bar opens at 2pm. Our volunteer bar staff are trained in the responsible service of alcohol.
SCHEDULE
The Junior Rodeo commences at 4pm. Watch the little cowboys and cowgirls.
The Main Rodeo event starts at 7pm, showcasing the top competitors.
Get in early for hay bale seating or bring your own chair
After the rodeo you can dance, shindig and hoedown through until 2am, with the live band Honky Tonk Heroes. They will keep your boots moving right through till 2024.
CASH IS KING!
Don't forget to bring cash, EFTPOS relies on the Telstra mobile tower and there is no guarantee it will keep up with the increased population in town.
BEHAVIOUR
The Mogumber Outback Club would like our guests to have a good time & celebrate the New Year, but we won't accept inappropriate behaviour. The safety of our guests, competitors and their horses/stock are our main priority. Once you are directed to a camp site, your engine should remain off until you leave. Any attempt at burnouts or engine revving will result in immediate eviction. Security is onsite to monitor and deal with trouble makers immediately, so please don't ruin your night or the night of others.
MOGUMBER'S LOCATION
The campground and rodeo are located on the one property at Mogumber Arena, just north of Mogumber. You will find signage and directions when you arrive in Mogumber. Mogumber has no shops, no fuel station and no ATMs. Please bring your supplies with you.
The community owned Mogumber Hub (former Mogumber Tavern) is closed on the 31st December 2023 and the 1st January 2024. Our local staff and volunteers will be serving you at the Mogumber NYE Rodeo venue.
