2024 Foundation Waratah- Observing Coach Registration
The Foundation Waratah program targets 13 and 14-year-old athletes by incorporating functional movement, technical and tactical skills, and wellbeing components. This new program has been designed by High-Performance Coaches Anita Keelan and Jill McIntosh AM.
Netball NSW would like to open the opportunity to netball coaches holding a current coaching accreditation to attend all 4 sessions at their closest venue. You will have the opportunity to observe and interact with Netball NSW leading coaches who are delivering the sessions. Coaches attending at least two sessions will be allocated 5 accreditation points towards their recertification.
Depending on the package you purchase, you can access a video resource and/or session plan of all 4 sessions.

The Foundation Waratah Program gives coaches the opportunity to come to observe and learn from the coaches delivering to our athletes enrolled in the program. From these sessions, you can gain an insight into what intensity in your training sessions should look like, when to progress or regress a skill and new ideas for your training sessions with new and variable skills and drills.
Option 1- Observe the 4 sessions and access to court session plans. (5 accreditation points towards your recertification if you attend 2 or more sessions).

Option 2- Oberseve the 4 sessions, video resource of the sessions delivered and court session plans (5 accreditation points towards your recertification if you attend 2 or more sessions).

**Video resources will be released after the final session that is held in Gosford on the 4th of March. This will apply to accreditation points as well.
Location
The Foundation Waratah programs will be delivered across 14 locations in North West, North Coast, Far North Coast, Hunter & Central Coast, West Central West, Riverina, South Coast and Metropolitan NSW.
