Shakespeare's dramatic love story translated into ballet at the magnificent Quarry Amphitheatre on the 11th, 12th, and 13th of January 2024 with fantastic music by Sergei Prokofiev. With lighting by Jerry Reinhardt this will be an unforgettable performance.Starring Sergey Pevnev as Romeo, born in Saint Petersburg Sergey trained at the Vaganova Ballet Academy. Sergey joined the West Australian Ballet in 2004 and was promoted to leading artist in April 2009. For Perth City Ballet, Sergey starred as Albrecht in Giselle and James in La Sylphide.
Starring Sarah Hepburn as Juliet, born in Melbourne Sarah was awarded the prestigious Solo Seal of the Royal Academy of Dance. She starred in the ballets Cinderella, SwanLake and Picnic at Hanging Rock with Perth City Ballet
