WE WILL INTERSECT (Album Launch)
Adrian Lim-Klumpes (piano) and Nick Calligeros (trumpet/electronics), with Miles Thomas (drums) and Nicholas Meredith (stuff) form an improvising quartet, which debuted at Johnson St Jazz 5 years ago.
We Will Intersect released an eponymous album earlier in 2023 and finally are all together again to celebrate.
Available from the OFF record label (BE), this album densely illustrates the band's concepts of simultaneous directions and future-listening, based on a composition by Lim-Klumpes that emanates ideas from his years improvising with ensembles, such as Tangents.
$30/$15, and BYO food and drink. Doors from 7.30pm, music from 8pm!
