Charley's Aunt (SOLD OUT)
Adapted by Paul Thain from Brandon Thomas
Jack and Charley are in love with Kitty and Amy, respectively. Charley's rich Brazilian aunt, Donna Lucia, plans to visit, and the boys hope to introduce them to her and anounce their love to the girls. However, delays and unexpected events unfold. Their friend, Lord Fancourt Babberly (Babbs), rehearsing for a play, complicates matters.
The girls go shopping as Donna Lucia's arrival is delayed. Jack's father visits, and Charley receives a telegram confirming the delay. Panicked about needing a chaperone, Jack and Charley introduce Babbs, in costume, as Charley's eccentric aunt, Donna Lucia. The play revolves around hilarious misunderstandings and mistaken identities.
"Charley's Aunt" is celebrated for its clever humor and is a timeless theatrical classic.
