CONGRATULATIONS on being chosen to represent the Darebin Phoenix for the 2024 VJBL season! 

We have proven over the course of 2023, that our Darebin Phoenix program is building steadily and gaining the interest of the basketball community. To continue our quest to provide a high level quality program, it is the policy of the Darebin Phoenix that all representative players pay their fees to accept their position on the team.

The Darebin Phoenix Registration fees for the 2024 season are $900 per child (inc. GST). Families with multiple children in the program will receive a $100 discount for the second child onwards. This year, acceptance of a postion on a team requires the player registration fees to be collected either in full or part via the PlayHQ platform.

For families who have taken the part payment option, the balance of $400 is due by 1 February, 2024. 

Registration Fees Include:

• Team Registration & Coach Honorarium

• Specialist Coaching & Development

• Midweek & Sunday Training Court Hire

• January Tournament entry

Registration Fees Do Not Include:

• Additional Training over allocated times

• Weekly Team Sheet Fees. There will be no door entry and we expect the team sheet fee will be a minimum $125 (VJL) - TBC

• Playing Uniform and Player's Uniform Pack

• Tournament entry outside of the January tournament

• Non compulsory events

NOTE: If a player accepts a position within the Darebin Phoenix, they will be bound by the fees as listed and no refund will be given at any stage once the player has accepted their position. This will cover all reasons including injury. This is mainly because acceptance of a position precludes another player from playing.
