The Society is delighted to take part in the promotion of a book about one of Australia's most notable modern architect, Esmond Dorney, written by his son Paddy Dorney.Esmond has particular resonance in the St Kilda/Elwood area due to his considerable body of work in designing apartment buildings in Elwood. We will all recognize the clean modern lines of many of his buildings which have made a substantial contribution to the Elwood streetscape.
Copies of the book will be available.
This is a free, public event organised by the St Kilda Historical Society.
