Affinity Quartet promises a special treat for our final Mattutino of the year. The program centrepiece is the Hungarian Bela Bartók’s first string quartet, inspired by Beethoven and creating a striking new direction for the string quartet in the 20th century. Alongside it, they'll play Haydn's "Emperor" quartet, one of his ambitious op. 76 works.
