Join us for an information-packed day, presented by subject experts, covering a range of syllabus & exam-related content.Morning topics:
- State and Federal News
- Student opportunities within and outside AMEB
- Building students' confidence post-COVID, in preparation for exams
- Getting that 'Plus' grading (Music)
- Ensemble skills
- SCORE walkthroughs
Afternoon workshops:
1. Online Theory (Speech and Music) - limited spaces available. Hands on in the PC lab - try the platform and explore it as a candidate and teacher.
2. Syllabus releases - look at how syllabuses are put together and reviewed, Q&A. This workshop will break into 4 subgroups (Brass, Woodwind, Strings, Teacher qualifications) for further discussion lead by subject matter experts.
3. Rockschool - live demo from the Rockschool Piano syllabus and other elements of the exam, with in-depth discussions on grading.
Morning and afternoon tea will be provided.
