About
This workshop is designed for Primary Teachers. It will provide information on:• How to make your classroom a more inclusive space
• How to improve the inclusive culture in your class/school
• Developing effective and flexible individual plans
• Building disability awareness in your class
• Developing inclusive lesson plans
• Practical strategies for student well-being and emotional regulation
• Working effectively with Education Assistants
• Building relationships with teachers/EA's, parents and allied health professionals
• Developing the ability of students to self-advocate
You will also have the opportunity to hear the schooling experience of a young person living with disability.
The workshop will be tailored to the group's needs and will be fully interactive, with opportunities to share and learn from each other and the presenters.
