In this presentation we consider the barriers which a family might be experiencing, which are stopping them from engaging with us in collaboration.We look at some ways to start the 'Difficult Conversation' with them and also review ways to refer on to further services such as NDIS.
We reflect on how many changes we can make before the 'Difficult Conversation', if we build up a thorough knowledge of the child and their current skills and abilities.
