20x20 ART EXHIBITION
THEME: INSIDE & OUTSIDE
DATES: Saturday 15 June - Sunday 7 July 2024
LOCATION: Community Gallery, 36 Webb St East Gosford
The 20x20 Art Exhibition is a fundraising event for art programs at Gosford Hospital (presented in partnership with Gosford Regional Gallery). Artists are invited to submit 3 artworks for an entry fee of $20 (plus booking fee). All artworks must be for sale and will be displayed and sold anonymously.
All artworks are to be presented on 20.3cm x 20.3cm x 3.7cm canvases (or 8” x 8” x 1.4” DEEP canvas). Canvases will be available from the Gallery gift shop with proceeds going to support Arts in Health initiatives at Gosford Regional Gallery.
$20 plus booking fee to enter 3 artworks per person (non-refundable). Nominate whether you are producing a series of three (triptych) or submitting 3 separate artworks all based on this year’s theme (please read the details carefully).
DEADLINE for entry fee and completed entry form is midnight Monday 3 June 2024 (unless the maximum number of entries is reached first).
DELIVER YOUR ARTWORK: Studio 2, Gosford Regional Gallery 36 Webb St. East Gosford on SUNDAY 9 JUNE 2024 between 10 - 4pm.
WIN: Each artist will have an opportunity to win a People’s Choice Award of $250, as voted by the public. The winner will be announced on Tuesday 9 July 2024.
PICKUP OF UNSOLD WORKS: A reception for the artists is planned for Tuesday 9 July 2024 from 6 - 8pm in the Community Gallery when we will announce the winner of the People’s Choice Award. Unsold artworks are to be picked up at this function. Otherwise, all unsold artworks must be picked up by Sunday 14 July 2024 (via main gallery reception).

DETAILS:
• Open to all residents of the Central Coast NSW.
• The theme for 2024 is “Inside & Outside”.
• Each artist will enter 3 artworks for a total entry fee of $20 – final size is 20.3cm (height) x 20.3 cm (width) x 3.7cm (depth) (or 8”x 8” x 1.4”) – which are the dimensions of “DEEP EDGE” canvases.
• Canvases are available from the Gallery gift shop with proceeds of sales going to the hospital art program fundraiser ($9 each or 3 for $24).
• Artworks can include paintings, photos, prints, drawings, collage and must be produced or mounted on 20.3 x 20.3 x 3.7cm canvases or wooden backing of the same dimensions.
• Signature, name, and title on the back only (all artworks will be displayed anonymously until sold).
• Although the artist’s name is not revealed until sold, their 3 artworks (whether a series or singles) will be displayed together.
• All artworks must be for sale. Series of 3 (triptychs) will be sold for $300. Single artworks will be sold for $100 each.
• Commission is 25%: Singles ($25 from each sale to the hospital fund and $75 of the sale price of each painting paid to the artist). Series of 3 ($75 from the sale of the series to the hospital fund and $225 to the artist).
• Artworks will be sold either individually or as a series (to be decided at time of registration).
• Register your entry via www.trybooking.com/COEVX, indicating whether you are submitting a series or three single entries, and provide titles.
• Artists will share the duties of supervising the exhibition and helping with set-up & dismantling.
• Artworks will be exhibited in the Community Gallery at 36 Webb St, East Gosford from Saturday 15 June to Sunday 7 July 2024 from 9:30am to 4pm daily.

• Only one entry (of 3 artworks) per artist
• Work previously exhibited will not be accepted
• Wet artworks will not be accepted
• Artworks must meet the required dimensions
• Please do not attach or include hanging devices
